The new celebrity in New Hampshire is Loon Mountain Ski Area’s Ice Castle. This is the first of these on the east coast and everyone in the state with a tripod or young children seems to be showing up.

Thank you…I can take credit however only for capturing it on film (or in my case a chip). It is a pretty interesting attraction. They even build in a tube so kids (and some adults) can slide through from one side to the other. I probably would have tried it, but the idea of doing this with a tripod had visions of me getting stuck and the local volunteer fire department being called in to rescue me.

My foster brother lives in NH, I wonder if he’s close to this. It’s beautiful.
Loon is just off of Rt93 going through Franconia Notch. If he is close, it is worth it.
