Downtown’ San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter is a historic district that is the center of downtown night life. The older buildings have been repurposed as restaurants and shops but retain the old facades. I spent part of an afternoon and evening there trying to capture some of the interesting architectural details, both old and new.

Thank you. Shooting inside the mall was interesting. Often, security does not want you in there taking pictures. This became a bit of a tactical mission, scouting out my spots in advance and then quickly setting up and taking down my gear.
