Bromfield Street

Back when I worked in Boston, I enjoyed visiting Bromfield Street with it’s watch repair shops, stores selling pens, camera shops and Sherman’s Luggage Store. Many of the stores are gone but some landmarks remain, though they have been upgraded a bit. Sherman’s closed but their name remains in the pavement.

There are a couple of streets in Boston that have great signs that have made good posts. The trick is finding an area that does not have just the usual chain stores. Cheers

The Vegas strip has very few chain stores. I’m thinking of maybe taking a stroll and seeing what I see with this new perspective.

Well, if we don’t take off this weekend I’ll start! Maybe Fremont Street would be better. More character!
