Cars, Desserts, and Other Bits

When I mentioned recently that I’d be making a couple of trips to Boston, my friend Izza asked for images of cars and desserts. The cars were easy because I photograph cars on occasion. Photographing food is all new to me. I struggled to make it look good and to have enough aspects of the food in focus with the background in a softer focus. I hope you like it anyway. Cheers!

You lucky man! Personally I prefer the original version with ricotta and sugar (and some bits of candied orange peel) but I guess they’re all fabulous πŸ˜‰

Each shot gave me a smile, but the pink cab reminded me of the chocolate brunch we took our children to years ago, though they never got into the pink cab, they definitely loved the hotel!

Thank you so much. The donut was very good – maple glazed. They have rather interesting flavors salted-caramel, apple crisp and one with maple and bacon, I think. Cheers!

Thank you, Soheir…It was fun making the photos for this post. You’ve posted a couple of videos lately. I want to view them but have been a bit busy. The mosquito one sounds very interesting. Cheers!

Regina Pizza has been there since the market opened in this format in the 1970s. I’m not sure if any other merchants have. Maybe the Boston Chipyard.

As a girl I worked as a photographer, and then I realized you must have special skill to make a great shots of food … to this day I do not succeed in that field. I love photography, but it is a serious job that every day you must learn something new…And of course … that is a great fun πŸ™‚
