      Thank you Teri. I shot this wide but the sky was all blown out. I ended up cropping in to come up with this. We have some snow today…If it does not turn to rain as they predict, I could get some snowy shots.

    The whole photo looks like a painting that contains another painting. I think because of the color of the wall, which seems to be the painting’s background. Don’t you think?

    Yes, totally. If you look to the far left you see bigger cement blocks. It is like the smaller red colored bricks that make up a large part of the image are painted on those big blocks. Good observation!

      It is an organization of over one million people worldwide. It was started in 1882 by people of the Catholic religion here in the US to help new immigrants. Now they have councils ( local groups like this) in many parts of the world to do charity work. They took their name from Christopher Columbus who “discovered” America.
