In Focus

Piers Park

Yesterday, I posted the image below. There were a couple of inquiries about nature of the location. The image was made at Piers Park in East Boston (by the airport). This is not the same angle, but you can clearly see the guard rail and lights in the distance. I think in the image below, the camera was pointed at a neighboring pier.

Thanks Monica. Yes, that is a good observation. The same thing may happen with photos from last night. I want to go back to the spot in this shot and do a sunrise shoot with all of buildings across the harbor glowing in the sun. Have a great day. Cheers!!!

I will need a good clear morning for that image. I’m not sure I saw the post with the snow drops. Is it new? I’d like to see it and figure out if we have the flower here. 😉

Hmm. I only see the post about imperfection for today and don’t see a flower. Is it in there? I’m also working off my phone, which is not always 100%.

My guess was correct… a pier. But so would love to see the sunrise shot from the view point.
Still want to say … I loved the bokeh shot. A creative take!

Thank you. Getting back out to that spot is definitely on my list. I only came up with the bokeh idea because it was a group shoot and I was getting bored. Sometimes boredom makes us more creative. You did call this one correctly. Cheers!

Oh and I want to tell your friend above and to you as well… We do have a version of snow drops. I had a small batch in Ohio that would come up in late March… And at times would peek through the melted snow.
