In the Kitchen

Earlier this week, I showed the last image in this series, an old industrial kitchen. People asked if there were any additional photos. I had made these three photos: a hand-washing station, a sign on the wall and an old mirror removed from the wall and now on the floor. These are all gone now. The site was demolished last spring.

The eeriness of abandonment shines through in these images. Who knows what that kitchen saw – much sadness, I imagine but I am glad you caught these before it was lost forever.

Thank you, Alex. I only snapped a few shots as it was a rather creepy location and I really should not have been there. But I am pleased I captured them also. Cheers!
