It was still early in the season. I think the only people going in the water were surfers in wet suits. There were some people around but I just shot around them. Beaches do get a certain mood when they are empty. They are more fun when there is a crowd. The people watching can be awesome.

We both chose to end the challenge with B&W! What gallery to you use to get your photos just so? I use tile mosaic but prefer your gallery so much better. Thanks, Chris.

Ah, great minds thing alike, then. I just use the default thumbnail gallery and because there were 4 photos chose to do this as 2 photos per row. Thank you for inviting me to do this challenge. Cheers!

Yes, the sea get wild sometimes, even where I was there were artificial bays to protect the beach and people. See in the photo from Black Sea in Romania.

Thank you Nancy. This is a lovely beach area about an hour north of Boston. You can throw on something casual after and then go shopping and dining in Newburyport. Cheers

Photo tugged my heart.. The first one of the walk way. Reminded me of summer vacations at the “Cape” ad my Bostonian father would call it. Cold water Cape Cod. Summers in the 60’s, not many people on beach then either. Love the black and white. Trip back in to my childhood mind:) Thank you, denise

You’re most welcome, Denise. This does look like the dunes of the Cape. It is a bit north of Boston, with it’s own dunes. I hope to get to the Cape this summer for some shoots. Cheers!
