It’s Beginning to Look a Bit Like Christmas

Last weekend was not all work and no play on Milford Street. My wife and I took the wooden “scarecrow” sculpture I made last summer and dressed him for Christmas. I had seen an idea for a snowman, made using a basic form. I adapted it to be made with some wood I had from an old pallet project and we recycled a Harry Potter scarf we had around the house. Now, we need to start working inside the house.

Your wife and you had real snow to help create an even better scenery! I like the idea of a scarecrow made into a really cheery Santa! It would be funny if his sack were actually filled with autumn’s leaves. πŸ˜€ The snowman is terrific, too. Happy holiday season to you and your family!

Thank you, Robin. His sack is actually filled with empty sofa bottles. The snowman took about two hours to build and I have ideas for other holidays also. Happy holiday season to you and your family as well. Cheers!

I like the idea of empty sodabottles, all ready to recycle or at least they won’t “rot” like leaves do! They really are attractive decorations!
Nothing beats homemade, Chris! Hugs and smiles.
