Ice Fishing Derby – Part 1

Last weekend was the annual Ice Fishing Derby in our little town. Actually, they had a three-day Winter Festival and the derby was part of it. It was the warmest derby that I have been to. It was nice not to freeze, but not many people drove their trucks out on the ice. As always, the people were friendly and having a good time.

Thank you. You do need ice for ice fishing. Maybe someday you can take a winter excursion someplace snowy and enjoy this and some of the other fun winter activities. Cheers

Thank you, Alex. I told some of the people I met there that people around the globe find the photos from the ice fishing derby to be interesting. I did not run into anyone from past years this trip. I saw a couple of ice houses that I recognized but the owners were not home. More photos tomorrow. Cheers!

Thank you, Hedy. The people ice fishing here are so friendly and it is a great atmosphere. I am about to go into class (assistant teaching) and will check out the link later. I hope your week is going well. Cheers
