Thursday Doors: Boston’s Chinatown

I am discovering that I have images with doors in my collection more often than I realize. This image from Boston’s Chinatown on a busy Saturday is my contribution to the Thursday Doors community for this week.

Boston Chinatown Wall Art

Boston does not have much in the way of wall art, but the Chinatown district has some creative work. I made these images on a visit to Boston a few weeks ago.

Street Scenes

I made these two images in Boston last week. Both presented rather busy subjects and I liked all of the various layers to each of these complex images. One image was made in Chinatown and the other in Downtown Crossing.

Signs from Boston’s Chinatown

For a while I’d wanted to explore Boston’s Chinatown with my camera. During my college years, I worked nearby and ate hear a few times a week. Like the North End, this neighborhood also had some nice signs and other accents. It would be fun to visit again in warmer weather.
